14 DAYS TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARI & BEACH

A unique twist on an African private wildlife safari and beach combination. This safari adventure includes a visit to the stunning northern Tanzania national parks; Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the world-famous Serengeti National Park. And after the adventure safari, you will have the perfect time to relax on the finest white sandy beaches of either Zanzibar, Pemba, Mafia, or Pangani, ideal for families, honeymooners, friends, birders, and photographers.

DAY 01 – FLIGHT TO ARUSHA TOWN

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport your private safari guide will be waiting for you and take you straight to your accommodation for a delicious dinner, relaxation, and a good night.

DAY 02 – ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

On the first day of your private safari adventure in Tanzania, your private guide will drive you to Arusha National Park. This small but lovely park has stunning scenery that is very different and considerably more lush than Tanzania’s other parks. After spending the whole day exploring this beautiful park you will drive back to your hotel for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

DAY 03 – SAFARI TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After checking out from your hotel another exciting day awaits you on your drive to Tarangire Park. A late lunch will be served for you. You will then have time to relax before heading out for a late afternoon game drive. This will be your home for three days exploring the wildlife of Tarangire.

DAY 04 – ENJOY A FULL-DAY GAME VIEWING AT TARANGIRE PARK

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore the park’s incredible and diverse landscape with a picnic lunch. This amazing park is home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants. It has the second highest animal concentration in Tanzania, after Serengeti National Park.

DAY 05 – ADVENTURE TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, you will drive out of Tarangire National Park via Mto wa Mbu town where a traditional safari lunch awaits you. At Mto wa Mbu town you will have the opportunity to explore and experience the authentic culture of some legendary tribes like the Maasai by visiting Maasai boma and learning about the lifestyle of this remarkable tribe.

You will observe the innovative farming practices of Mto wa Mbu villagers and learn about the irrigation system that sustains local crops, including the 32 varieties of bananas. They also have a small gift shop where you can pick up forgotten essentials and mementos from your trip to beautiful Tanzania. Afterward, you will proceed to Karatu town, fresh dinner will be served, followed by relaxation and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06 – EXPLORING NGORONGORO CRATER

On this day we recommend getting up early so that you can make the most of your visit to the crater which is the natural wonder of the world, the most impressive geological feature in Africa.

Ngorongoro Crater is a beautiful untouched and well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. It is often referred to as “African’s Garden of Eden”. The crater is home to the rare black rhino where a sighting makes a visit to Ngorongoro even more amazing. After a picnic lunch, you will drive to Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight at the camp in Central Serengeti.

DAY 07 – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you set off to explore this spectacular national park named as one of the seven wonders of the world. The most popular event in this national park is the wildebeest migration. This happens every year starting from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area within Serengeti to Maasai Mara in Kenya. It is a natural phenomenon that sees the wildebeests and zebra move up north in search of greener pastures.

Lunch at the camp and some time to relax in the lovely surroundings of the camp. You will head out for an afternoon game drive through the Serengeti plains to spot its varied wildlife.

DAY 08 – EXPLORING THE WILDLIFE OF SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

As day breaks over the Serengeti plains you will be woken with coffee or tea before heading out to explore the park in the beautiful early morning light. Spot predators slinking back into the bush after a night of hunting and enjoy seeing herds of antelope soaking up the morning sunshine and reveling in the wonderful peace and tranquility of the still Serengeti mornings.

After the picnic lunch, you will drive towards northern Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

DAY 09 – SERENGETI PLAINS

Another day of adventure observing wildlife on the Serengeti plains with your private safari guide. If you would like to watch wildlife from another perspective we recommend a balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife below. We can arrange this for you with pleasure.

DAY 10 – GOODBYE SERENGETI

Enjoy a final morning game drive and breakfast at the camp before being collected and transferred to the airstrip. You will board a morning scheduled flight from Kogatende Airship, ready for a couple of days on the gorgeous beaches of the Islands of Zanzibar, Pemba, Mafia, or Pangani– the choice is yours as you touch the ground in Zanzibar, Pemba or Mafia you will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 11, 12 & 13 – RELAXING IN PARADISE

Spend your days relaxing at your beach hotel, by the swimming pool, or on the white sand beaches of Tanzania. Enjoy 24-hour service and exquisite seafood!

Let us know if you wish to explore Zanzibar we recommend the combined tour of Zanzibar and the spice villages. You can kite surf or discover the diverse marine life on a snorkeling or deep-sea diving excursion. There are so many things to experience along the Coast of Tanzania.

DAY 14 – TIME TO FLY BACK HOME

On this day you will be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight back home.
